Vicky Collins has worked as a freelance producer for NBC Network News since 1997. After starting her NBC career in the Olympic Unit, Vicky transitioned to news and came aboard to cover the JonBenet Ramsey murder investigation. Since then she has been a go to person for the biggest news stories of the last three decades producing for NBC Nightly News, Today and MSNBC. These stories include natural disasters such as wildfires, hurricanes and tornadoes and mass shootings at Columbine, Aurora, Parkland, the Pulse Nightclub and Uvalde. Vicky has also worked on incredibly inspiring stories of people pushing through trauma and adversity. Vicky produced with Dateline NBC on numerous programs. She covered court cases, and was involved in production and booking. In addition to NBC News, Vicky has worked with ABC, CBS, CNN, Vice, Al Jazeera America, AXS TV, HDNet, PBS and the Weather Channel.
